Shepard Fairey completes his latest legal mural in District La Brea, Los Angeles. Over 30 feet tall, “High Time for Peace” is described as “pro peace, pro nature” by the street art legend. Fairey originally began posting illegal works on the building years ago. Eventually the building company, Madison Marquette, turned to the street icon for a full (free) mural. Only comp’ing paint, the building offered “security” for the artist to paint at-will. The mural is based off of graphic prints, and include a hand with a watch embedded in it reading, “High Time For Peace”.
